“Light the Path to Education” Donation

$300.00$600.00

Every year thousands of Central Pennsylvania children are engaged and inspired through authentic encounters with nature and direct exposure to the arts at the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. We consider it a privilege to impact the future in this way, and invite you to partner with us through a very special memorial or tribute opportunity along our Path to Education walkway. Your gift will allow us to illuminate this beautiful, symbolic path and the lives of children throughout Central Pennsylvania for years to come.

Product Description

The Impact of  Illumination

You are invited to designate a lamp post with a beautiful, engraved plaque as a lasting tribute or memorial gift to honor those who have impacted your life. A donation of $300 will designate a small lamp post and larger lamp posts can be designated for a donation of $600. These beautiful lamps are on from dusk to dawn and create a lovely scene as their light plays on the Center’s spectacular natural setting. Your donation will bring immediate, direct benefits to the children reached by our educational programs.

Your gift will allow us to:

  • Sustain the very heart of the Center’s mission: unique, dynamic environmental and conservation education programming.
  • Engage children’s innate desire to explore and light the spark of discovery through authentic field study and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Illuminate a child’s world through the inspiring beauty of Pennsylvania’s natural wonders and world-class art.
  • Stimulate children’s curiosity and foster a greater understanding of the natural world and conservation issues.
  • Nurture the scientists, artists, writers, and environmental stewards of the future.
